Terms & Conditions for AiBUDDY BETA Program

Effective Date: 20 May 2025

Welcome to AiBUDDY, a web-based chatbot service developed by QPBUDDY Pte. Ltd.(a Singapore homegrown DeepTech Start-up, hereinafter referred to as "QPBUDDY") as part of its ongoing innovation initiatives to support the digitalization and modernization of the Built Environment sector in Singapore and beyond.

By accessing or using AiBUDDY as part of the BETA testing program, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Nature and Limitations of AiBUDDY

AiBUDDY is powered by large language model (LLM) technologies, and is currently in its BETA stage. While every effort has been made to ensure its performance and accuracy, users should be aware that, due to the inherent nature of LLM-based systems, the following limitations apply:

• The AI can generate inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, outdated, or fabricated ("hallucinated") information.
• Responses can reflect bias, cultural stereotypes, or subjective interpretations inherent in the training data.
• There is no assurance of factual correctness, completeness, or relevance in any given output.
• The AI can misinterpret prompts, generate inappropriate content, or suggestions.
• Content can be generated based on probabilistic reasoning, not deterministic logic or verified sources.
• The service shall never replace professional advice (e.g., legal, medical, engineering, or financial advice) and/or professional judgements.
• BETA related limitations
  • User may experience interuptions of services due to high usage demands.
  • Althought unlikely, user may suffer from complete data loss, e.g. chat history etc.

[IMPORTANT] Users are advised to independently verify and scrutinise any critical or decision-impacting output from AiBUDDY.

2. Disclaimer of Liability

QPBUDDY disclaims all liability and responsibility for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or related to the use of AiBUDDY and any results, outputs, or actions taken based on such outputs. Use of AiBUDDY is at the sole discretion and risk of the user.

3. BETA Program Review and Continuation

The AiBUDDY BETA program will be subject to review on a quarterly basis. QPBUDDY reserves the right to:

• Continue or extend the BETA testing phase,
• Transition AiBUDDY into a production or paid service, or
• Terminate or suspend the AiBUDDY service entirely,

based on internal assessments, user feedback, and/or strategic considerations.

4. Voluntary Participation and Use of Outcomes

Participation in the AiBUDDY BETA program is strictly voluntary. By using AiBUDDY during this phase, you acknowledge and agree that:

• QPBUDDY may collect, analyze, and use all inputs, interactions, outputs, and metadata derived from your use of the service.
• Such data may be used for service improvement, model training, quality assurance, or marketing purposes (e.g., showcasing capabilities).
• No compensation or remuneration shall be provided to users for their participation or contributions during the BETA program.

5. Intellectual Property and Co-Ownership of Data

By using AiBUDDY as a BETA tester, you grant QPBUDDY a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and distribute:

• All prompts, queries, and materials you submit to AiBUDDY, and
• All content, responses, and data derived therefrom,

for product development, improvement, and commercial purposes. You agree to co-share/co-own all such materials with QPBUDDY for the stated purposes, and waive any claim to exclusivity or proprietary control over them.

6. Changes to Terms

QPBUDDY reserves the rights to update these Terms & Conditions at any time, with or without notice. Continued use of AiBUDDY constitutes your acceptance of any revised terms.
